- It does not make medical or therapeutic decisions
- It does not verify users' identity or qualifications
- It does not guarantee that all clinical information is up to date
- It cannot call for medical help — in an emergency, call 112

- It helps you understand seizure types, triggers and the principles of first aid
- It supports parents and caregivers in the daily care of a person with epilepsy
- It provides organisational tools for schools and teachers
- It lets you keep a seizure diary (for orientation purposes only)
- It makes it easier to find neurology centres nearby
- It is a supplement to — not a substitute for — medical care
